We seek a Transmission Technician to join our excellent crew of knowledgeable techs with experience working with classic and antique vehicles and possesses carbureted vehicle knowledge. All technicians are expected to own tools upon hire or are responsible for purchasing tools once hired. Our crew enjoys their early schedule because we care most about returning team members back home by dinner. Open Positions:

Position: Transmission Technician

Pay: $37,000 - $52,000 / year.

Hours: Full Time | 30 – 40hrs/week

Schedule: 6 AM – 2 PM | Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

·Inspect and diagnose transmission issues in classic cars accurately and swiftly.

·Rebuild, replace, and repair transmission systems as per the manufacturer's standards.

·Perform routine transmission maintenance, including fluid changes, adjustments, and part replacements.

·Provide expert advice to customers about necessary services and potential solutions for their vehicles.

·Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in transmission technology.

·Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to enhance their expertise.

·Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and superior customer satisfaction.

·Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have your own tools.
• Experience with classic and antique vehicles
• Carbureted vehicle knowledge a plus
• Proven experience as a Transmission Technician or similar role in a reputable auto repair shop.
• Knowledge and understanding of transmission systems in classic cars.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
